University of Wah conducted insightful Smog Awareness and Career Counseling Sessions at Sir Syed Scholars College and KIPS College, Wah Cantt, on 27 February 2025. These sessions aimed to educate F.Sc students about environmental issues and career pathways. The sessions led by Mr. Muhammad Haroon (Deputy Director Admissions, WEC), accompanied by Dr. Saleem Iqbal (Chairperson, Chemical Engineering), Mr. Waqas Khan (Chemical Engineering), Mr. Tahir Hussain (Economics), Ms. Naheed Malik, Ms. Bilqees Bano (Biosciences), and Ms. Sana (Admissions Coordinator) were organized by the Directorate of Admissions. The event featured an engaging lecture on smog awareness, followed by an interactive career counseling discussion. Students actively participated, gaining valuable insights into environmental responsibility and academic opportunities. The sessions concluded with the presentation of shields to the principals of both colleges as a token of appreciation for their collaboration in fostering student awareness and growth.
