The mission of the University of Wah Lab Complex is to promote an atmosphere of innovation, creation, and collaboration among faculty, students, and the community by connecting and sharing the high-tech resources to groom their learning experiences.

UWLC was established with the primary goal to facilitate our researchers by providing state-of-the-art, fully equipped labs and instrumentation facilities to create opportunities for an interactive and conducive research environment and to promote interdisciplinary research.

Centralized Facilities

The Lab Complex provides investigators and group leaders with sophisticated techniques, equipment, and instrumentation. The level of support that various researchers need for interdisciplinary research varies greatly. Consequently, the level of access offered by the Lab complex varies from consultation and advice on project-specific aspects of analytical techniques available instruments in the Lab complex to prepare and complete the data analysis. Our core facilities welcome academic institutions, research organizations, and the scientific community. We offer high-quality data analysis services and access to specialized instruments supported by trained experts.

Our centralized facilities comprised of High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Autolab/PGSTAT302N, Gel Documentation System, Nanodrop, Plant Growth Chamber, Rotary Evaporator, Soxhlet Apparatus, Carbon coater, 3D printer, Central Herbarium, and Greenhouse facility. All these are in operation.

In addition, basic facilities for routine experiments included Muffle Furnace, Polarimeter, Conductivity Meter, Water Bath, Centrifuge, High-Temperature Box Furnace, Deionizer, and Distillation Apparatus, LCR Meter, fully Automated Automatic Desktop Grinder, Pellets Press Machine and Horizontal Shaking Bath are also available.

We host several highly qualified professionals and provide quality services at the Lab complex, which ensures that scientists spend their time doing what they do best, with suitable facilities and assistance from experts right away.
