University of Wah (UW) and University of Malakand (UOM), in a significant step towards academic and research collaboration, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 05 March 2025. The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in research, higher education, training, and other areas of mutual interest.
The MoU was formally signed by Professor Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor-UW, and Professor Dr. Rashid Ahmad, Vice Chancellor-UOM, during a ceremony held at University of Malakand. The event was attended by key representatives from both institutions, including Prof. Dr. Amjad Hassan, Director ORIC-UW; Dr. Sadiq Usman, Chairperson, Department of Physics-UW; and Prof. Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad, Chairman, Department of Physics-UOM, along with team members from the Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC-UOM). This strategic partnership is set to facilitate joint research projects, faculty exchange programs, and academic capacity-building initiatives. Both institutions expressed their commitment to fostering innovation, knowledge-sharing, and scholarly excellence through this collaboration.
