Placement Office ORIC-UW, to enhance students’ employability and equip students with essential career preparation skills, conducted a CV writing session titled “The Art of CV Writing: Make Your First Impression Count” on 27 February 2025. Dr. Sania Arif, Lecturer, Management Sciences Department, led the session. A large number of eighth-semester students from the faculties of Computer Science, Management Sciences, and Engineering attended the session. Dr. Sania emphasized the CV as a crucial first interaction with employers, providing insights on tailoring content to organizational needs. She shared a model CV format for the upcoming Open House & Job Fair, highlighting key elements such as academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, and project experience. The interactive session saw enthusiastic student participation, with formatting and content relevance discussions. Additionally, a group of Civil Engineering students sought personalized feedback from Dr. Sania, receiving tailored recommendations to refine their CVs.
