Department of Management Sciences to provide students with experiential learning opportunities that enhance their academic and professional development, organized an academic visit to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) for 2 nd and 3 rd year students of the MBA, BSAF, and BSAN programs on 19 May 2025. Under the guidance of Ms. Riffat Shaheen, lecturer, Department of Management Sciences, the visit offered students a unique opportunity to engage directly with SECP officials. Officers from various departments provided insightful briefings on the Commission’s role in corporate governance, regulatory frameworks, and sustainability initiatives. The visit emphasized the SECP’s contribution to fostering transparent business practices and advancing Pakistan’s economic growth in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students gained practical exposure to the regulatory environment, bridging classroom concepts with real-world applications.
