Department of Psychology, to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, organized a capacity-building (CB) activity featuring a one-day training session on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy on 13 May 2025. The session aimed to equip students with essential skills in ABA, focusing on its application in both clinical and educational settings.
Ms. Aaisha Shaukat, lecturer in the Psychology department and resource person for the training through interactive modules and hands-on exercises, trained participants in key ABA techniques, including behavior assessment and intervention strategies. A total of 28 students participated in the training, gaining valuable experiential learning that enhanced their competencies in behavior analysis and therapeutic practice. The session effectively connected academic learning with real- world clinical application, underscoring the department’s commitment to skill-based education in mental health and education.
