University of Wah (UW) is delighted to announce the signing of the Erasmus KA1071 agreement with Karadeniz Technical University (KTU), Türkiye, on 27 January 2025. This partnership represents a significant step in promoting international collaboration and academic mobility. Under the Erasmus KA1071 program, students and staff from both institutions will benefit from short-term scientific missions, fostering academic and cultural exchange across key disciplines such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biosciences, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Management Sciences, and Economics.
Both universities are committed to inclusive participation by encouraging individuals with fewer opportunities through targeted outreach initiatives and ensuring that the selection procedures for mobility are fair, transparent, and well-documented. To further support diverse participation, additional criteria will be considered for students facing social or economic challenges, with clear guidelines outlined in the application process. This agreement is a milestone in enhancing global academic collaboration, creating inclusive opportunities for students and staff, and strengthening ties between Pakistan and Türkiye.
