A group of thirty-two talented students from University of Wah, representing both Wah Engineering College and Quaid Campuses, participated in the prestigious opening ceremony of the Prime Minister National Sports Olympiad at Sports Complex, Islamabad on 21 November 2024, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and excellence in co-curricular activities. Engr. Waqas Javid, Deputy Director, Student Affairs (DDSA) at WEC, and University Sports Supervisor Mr. Zahid Mehmood, supported and guided the students throughout the event. The opening ceremony was a proud moment for University of Wah, as its students stood prominently on stage, holding the university flag high-a symbol of unity, excellence, and pride.
