The Master of Science (MS) degree in Management Sciences is 2-year programme envisioned to provide an intensive, rich, and innovative understanding of the intersection between business fundamentals and a focused specialization area. The MS in Management Sciences at the Wah Business School will allow students to build a sound foundation of the core concepts in Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Management to ensure up-to-date training for entry or progression in Management careers. The programme aims to equip students with fundamental tools, knowledge, and expertise to effectively deal with contemporary business issues. It will enable you to comprehend and operate within the increasing complexities and innovations in the field which organizations face.

SCHOLARSHIPS / FINANCIAL SUPPORT

University of Wah is offering following incentives to graduate students

a. Graduate Student Assistantship

A total of 2 Assistantships will be offered per year/department based on merit.

Eligibility


    • BS/MSc/MA qualification (Enrolled in MS)
    • CGPA ≥ 3.00
    • Maintain GPA ≥ 3.00 in the following semester
    • Satisfactory research progress

Responsibilities


    • Maximum of 9-12 Contact Hrs. per week (Labs/Administrative Tasks)
    • Enrollment in courses/research in regular semester (Fall/Spring) is mandatory

Fee Waiver


    • 100% tuition fee waiver

Stipend


    • Rs. 15,000/- per month

Contract Period


    • Minimum residency of the program i.e., 2 years

Terms and Conditions


    For Assistantship NOC/BOND is required to be submitted.
    Assistantship is subject to satisfactory progress report to be submitted by the Chairperson in the mid and at the end of semester.
    In case a student wishes to discontinue Assistantship, he/she will have to surrender all the benefits.

b. Merit Based Scholarship:


    • 50% Tuition fee waiver in First semester for students with minimum CGPA ≥ 3.65 in MS
    • 50% Tuition fee waiver for students with minimum GPA in previous Semester ≥ 3.65
OR
    • 50% Tuition fee waiver for students with Satisfactory research progress duly certified by Supervisor in Case of Non-graded Previous Semester
    • TA’s are not eligible for merit Scholarship

c. Fee Concession for Graduate Programs


    • 15% Tuition Fee Concession to the children of POF Employees
    • 15% Tuition Fee Concession to the Alumni of UW (within two years of last degree completion)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Minimum 16 years of education in relevant business education field from HEC recognized University such as BBA/BSAF/B.COM (4-Year) and MBA (2 Years) etc. (with minimum CGPA of 2.00 on the scale of 4.0 or 50% marks), UW Entry Test, GAT-General (Minimum 50% Marks) or GRE-General (Minimum 50 Percentile) and Interview.
