The Department of Education offers BS (HONS), MS and PhD degree programs to impart quality education and produce innovative educators and researchers with a focus on practical and applied learning. Students are provided with the knowledge and skills to become significant contributors to education and society.

The highly qualified and experienced faculty in the Department of Education aims to produce well-oriented, innovative and dedicated professionals. The department develops psychosocial, cognitive and emotional abilities in its students to become competent and skillful teachers, trainers, inquisitive researchers, guidance experts, educational planners and curriculum designers. The department has state-of-the-art research facilities for its students including digital library and research journals. Furthermore, multiple opportunities for students’ character and personality grooming are provided through debates, cultural events, sports and visual art competitions

Ph.D. Education 4 Years
(8 Semesters)
MS/MPhil Degree in relevant discipline with minimum CGPA 3.00/4.00 or equivalent (70%), UW Entry Test (70% marks) or GAT-Subject (Minimum 60% Marks) or GRE-Subject (Minimum 60 Percentile)
