University of Wah Library continued its "Book of the Month" series in August 2024, focusing on "چراغ تلے" by the renowned Urdu humorist and satirist مشتاق احمد یوسفی, to provide a platform for students and faculty to engage with diverse literary works, broaden their horizons, and understand different cultural perspectives. The initiative featured a series of insightful lectures led by Mr. Maaz Ahmad, Lecturer, Psychology Department-UW, who captivated the audience with his profound analysis of Yousufi’s witty writing style and the deeper social insights embedded in his work. Mr. Maaz Ahmad’s lectures went beyond the surface humor of Yousufi’s work, offering students and faculty an opportunity to explore the layers of social commentary and wisdom that define "چراغ تلے."
