Placement Office-ORIC, in collaboration with the leading faculties of UW, Faculty of Engineering, Computer Science, and Management Sciences, organized the annual Open House and Job Fair-2023 on 25 May 2023. It comprises different activities, which include the display of R&D projects of final-year students, employers’ branding, access to the Graduate Directory for potential jobs, walk-in interviews, an award ceremony, and social networking among employers, faculty, and students. The event was graced by Mr. Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gilani, Chairman, National Technology Council, as chief guest. A total of forty-one (41) companies, including Global Study Linkers, Askari Bank, Bank Alfalah Limited, Mehria Town Attock, and BETON Construction & Marketing, were the esteemed sponsors of the event. Students from different fields of engineering, computer science, and management sciences showcased their eighty-seven (87) final-year projects (FYP). The details of the winners are as follows:

VC-UW, Chairman NTC, and Director ORIC-UW addressed the ceremony and hoped that this Open House & Job Fair will foster valuable connections among academia, industry, and Govt organizations to bring socioeconomic change and turn the country into a knowledge-based economy. In the end, shields and appreciation certificates were presented to esteemed sponsors, participating companies, and winning students as tokens of appreciation.
