University of Wah (UW) has achieved another remarkable milestone in its pursuit of academic excellence and sustainable development by being placed in the 401–600 band globally in the 7th edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025. Out of 2318 participating universities from 130 countries, UW earned an impressive percentile score of 78.5%. Nationally, the University ranked 15th in Pakistan and 9th in Punjab, reflecting its steadily growing impact on both local and international fronts.
UW was evaluated in four out of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and delivered commendable results. In SDG 4: Quality Education, UW ranked 101–200 globally out of 1975 institutions, 14th in Pakistan, and 9th in Punjab, with a notable score of 73.4/100, highlighting its commitment to inclusive and equitable education. In SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, UW secured 90th position globally among 1181 institutions, ranking 3rd in Pakistan and 2nd in Punjab, with a score of 67.7/100. In SDG 13: Climate Action, the University achieved an impressive 57th place worldwide out of 1089 institutions, standing 3rd in both Pakistan and Punjab, with a strong score of 73.9/100.
