Students of BS V-B, Psychology Department, University of Wah, accompanied by Ms. Rahma Sohail, Lecturer, Department of Psychology, as a testament to their commitment to community welfare and mental health advocacy, extended a compassionate hand to the children of Edhi Foundation’s Orphanage House, Islamabad. The multi-faceted visit aimed to impart psychosocial skills to the children at Edhi Centre by engaging them in activities to enhance their emotional well-being and resilience, including gross motor skill exercises, play therapy, art therapy, and lessons on anger management, emotional regulation, and negative & positive touch. The visiting students provided psychological counseling and support, and despite the children's adversities, they displayed remarkable resilience, hope, and eagerness to learn. The visit gave students practical experience and promoted empathy, understanding, and social responsibility.
