University of Wah (UW) has established a strategic partnership with Startup Coworks Pvt. Ltd., which operates in Pakistan and Riyadh (KSA), to strengthen academic-industry collaboration. Under this initiative, 11 Software Engineering students have been selected for a six-week Graduate Development Program commencing on 21 July 2025. This collaboration was formalized following a meeting between Prof. Dr. Amjad Hassan, Director ORIC-UW, and Mr. Wajahat Raja, Chairman, Startup Coworks, and was followed by online interviews with 21 UW students on 17 July 2025.
The program offers practical training, opportunities for final-year project collaborations, and the prospect of full-time positions with Startup Coworks in Pakistan or Riyadh, based on performance. This partnership reflects UW’s dedication to equipping its graduates with industry- relevant skills and preparing them for global career opportunities.
