Department of Computer Science, University of Wah, organized the two-day NextGen Battle Royal-Season 3 from 02-03 June 2025. Hosted by the NextGen Gaming Guild, the national-level esports event drew over 250 participants from universities, gaming zones, and national teams, including COMSATS University, Islamabad, Wah Cantt campus, Air University, Islamabad, UET, Taxila, Haripur University, Wah Engineering College, and others.
The event featured four competitive games: Tekken 8, Call of Duty 4, PUBG Mobile, and FIFA 25, offering a dynamic platform for students and professionals to showcase their gaming skills. Industry professionals and sponsors, including Mr. Muhammad Junaid and team from Glow Star Real Estate and Builders, Trek Esports, team from M5Host, team from Dawlance, and team from Blanco Bake Shop also attended the event.
Winners in Tekken 8 were Foxce (1st), Punisher (2nd), and Najaf Khan (3rd), with a prize pool of PKR 35,000. Team Zeref won COD 4, Talha Bin Naseer and M. Umer took the PUBG title, and Umer Rizwan Malik won FIFA 25, with prize pools of PKR 5,000 each. The event concluded on a high note, celebrating competitive spirit and the growing influence of esports in academic life.
