Students of BS 3A, Department of English-UW, organized a Plantation Drive under the supervision of Ms.Samreen Haider, Lecturer, Department of Islamic Studies, as part of the Civic & Community Engagement course. The initiative focused on planting saplings, cleaning green spaces, and raising awareness about environmental sustainability. It also highlighted the Islamic perspective on tree plantation as an act of continuous charity (Sadaqah Jariyah). Ms. Haiqa Ali, Ms. Laiba Waseem, Ms. Zaib Ashraf, and Ms. Urooba Kanwal Butt, students of BS-3rd, actively participated in the drive and demonstrated their dedication to fostering a greener environment. This initiative reflected the students' commitment to fulfilling their civic responsibilities and contributing meaningfully to a sustainable future.
