Dr. Asma Arif, Asst. Professor and Chairperson, Department of Economics, University of Wah, published a Chinese-language article in Social Science in China Press on 16 April 2024, featured on the third page of the Chinese Social Science Newspaper. Chinese Social Sciences Today is affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), is a highly respected newspaper with a wide readership among Chinese universities, research institutes, and think tanks due to its coverage of theoretical and practical issues within social sciences. The article, titled “绿色发展理念助力中巴经济走廊建设” (Concept of Green Development Facilitates the Enhancement of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor), delves into the crucial role of green development in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Policy. Prof. Cao Zhihong, Director, Department of Marxism Sinicization, School of Marxism Studies,University of Chinese Academy of Sciences(UCAS), and Mr. Muhammad Umar Mushtaq, the former Assistant Director of QA&E, University of Wah, have provided recommendations. Dr. Asma Arif, in her article, talked about the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) policy, its effect, the Belt and Road green construction, and ecological progress from a broader perspective. The essay resulted from a fruitful cooperation and exchange project between the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Pakistan Science Foundation, highlighting the importance of international collaboration in academic research.
