Department of Computer Science, University of Wah, to support student's academic success and prepare them for the demands of the rapidly evolving technological landscape, conducted a focused LaTeX training session for its final-year students on 08 and 11 November 2024. The training aimed to equip students with essential skills for formatting project documentation professionally, an integral part of their academic and professional development. The comprehensive sessions covered topics crucial for mastering LaTeX, including an introduction to LaTeX editors, document structure, and best practices for organizing academic work. Students were also introduced to advanced features such as collaborative editing, version control, and template customization. These topics are increasingly important for students preparing for research work, thesis writing, and publication in academic journals. Ms. Sadia Waheed and Ms. Amna Sarwar, lecturers from the Computer Science Department, guided students as resource persons, enabling them to gain hands-on experience with the LaTeX typesetting system, widely utilized in academia for creating high-quality technical and scientific documents.
