University of Wah Library, to stimulate intellectual growth and practical understanding among students in its Book of the Month series, successfully conducted insightful sessions on Robert L. McDonald's “Derivatives Markets” in September 2024. Dr. Bahrawar Said, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Sciences and resource person for the sessions, provided students with a comprehensive understanding of key financial concepts, including derivatives and risk management. Throughout the series, Dr. Bahrawar expertly combined theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, offering students an engaging learning experience. The interactive nature of the discussions, where students actively participated, enabled them to grasp the complexities of financial markets and feel well-prepared for the challenges in the finance industry.
