Department of Mechanical Engineering at Wah Engineering College (WEC), University of Wah, to foster interdisciplinary learning and professional development within the engineering community, organized a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activity titled "Biomechanics in the Era of Modern Technology" on 30 January 2025.
Dr. Zartasha Mustansar, Associate Professor and Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, served as the distinguished resource person. Her insightful discourse on biomechanics in the modern technological landscape sparked engaging discussions and enriched participants with valuable knowledge. In recognition of her contribution, Col. Hafiz Sighbat Ullah, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering presented Dr. Zartasha Mustansar a certificate of appreciation, commending her expertise and dedication to the field.
The concluding session featured an interactive discussion between Dr. Zartasha Mustansar, Dr. Adnan Tariq, Dean, Engineering; and Dr. Shahab Khushnood, Chairperson of the Mechanical Engineering Department. They emphasized the importance of academic collaboration and explored the potential for establishing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate future joint initiatives between WEC and NUST.
