Department of Management Sciences-UW organized an insightful session titled "Decoding the Stock Exchange: Insights and Strategies for Smart Investments" for BBA 5 students on 17 January 2025. The session aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical investment strategies as part of the department's ongoing efforts to provide students with valuable opportunities to gain insights into finance and investment, preparing them for real-world financial challenges. Mr. Muhammad Irfan Aziz, a seasoned investor with over 15 years of experience and a lecturer at University of Lahore, Lahore, captivated the audience with his in-depth knowledge of the stock exchange and investment strategies. Mr. Aziz shared valuable insights into the functioning of stock exchanges, common investment pitfalls, and effective strategies to maximize returns while minimizing risks. His ability to simplify complex financial concepts and share real-world investment experiences made the session highly engaging and accessible for the students. Dr. Fatima Sultana, Lecturer, Department of Management Sciences, was the focal person for the event. The session also featured an interactive Q&A segment, where students actively engaged with the speaker, seeking advice on their queries and discussing current trends in the financial markets.
