Directorate of Quality Assurance & Enhancement (QA&E), University of Wah, has achieved an outstanding score of 97.80 out of 100 in the Higher Education Commission's (HEC) Scorecard for the Yearly Progress Report (YPR) 2022-23. The HEC rated university's performance as Meeting Maximum Parameters Satisfactorily (MMPS). This remarkable accomplishment reflects the university’s steadfast commitment to excellence and continuous efforts to improve quality assurance practices.
This year's score marks the highest achievement since 2017. The evaluation criteria covered various areas, including progress in Institutional Performance Evaluation, Program Self-Assessment, Accreditation of Programs, Postgraduate Program Review, Functioning of QA&E Directorate, and the implementation of HEC Quality Assurance Policies such as GEP-2023, the Plagiarism Policy, and Faculty Appointment guidelines.
The HEC commended the University for its consistent dedication to strengthening the Internal Quality Assurance system and fostering a culture of quality in higher education.
