Students from Beaconhouse School System, Wah Cantt, explored the realm of science and technology during their visit to the University of Wah's Lab Complex on 22 November 2024. The visit aimed to inspire students to pursue careers in sciences, reflecting the University of Wah's commitment to promoting knowledge sharing, nurturing young talent, and fostering collaborations with academic institutions. During a tour of state-of-the-art laboratories, faculty members including Dr. Javid Shabbir, Professor, Department of Statistics and Director of UW Lab Complex; Dr. Shaista Taimur, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry; Dr. Farhat Yasmeen, Assistant Professor, Department of Biosciences; and Dr. Matiullah Shah, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, guided the students. The faculty members not only showcased the cutting-edge facilities but also explained the ongoing research and technological advancements, offering valuable insights to the students. They also actively participated in an interactive session led by the university faculty, where engaging discussions and activities were designed to spark their curiosity and enhance their understanding of research and development.
