Department of Psychology-UW actively participated in the “2nd International Conference on Building Resilience Today & Prosperous Tomorrow in Personal, Social, Cultural, Financial, and Economic Spheres of Human Life,” held at University of Haripur on 30-31 May 2024. Dr. Noman Aftab, Chairperson, Department of Psychology, and faculty members, including Ms. Rahma Sohail, Ms. Bibi Hajira, and Ms. Ayesha Umar, lecturers, Department of Psychology, attended the conference with enthusiastic graduate and undergraduate students. Four MS students and ten BS students presented their research work at the conference, covering diverse psychological perspectives such as personal, social, cultural, and economic domains. Their presentations were well-received, showcasing their deep understanding and innovative approaches to psychological research. The conference provided students with valuable practical exposure to complement theoretical knowledge, boosting their confidence and allowing them to engage with new research trends and domains. This experience will undoubtedly aid them in conducting future studies and applying their findings in real-world settings.
