Department of Computer Science (CS), University of Wah held its annual High Achievers Appreciation Ceremony on 22 May 2024 to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of CS students in academia, sports, and final year projects. This event highlighted the dedication and excellence demonstrated by the students, serving as an inspiration for the entire department. Prof. Dr. Wazir Zada Khan, Dean, Faculty of Computer Science, delivered an inspiring welcome address, emphasizing the importance of recognizing student achievements and motivating all students to strive for excellence. The ceremony included the Academic Excellence Awards, which recognized students who excelled in their coursework. Awards were meticulously selected based on GPA, faculty recommendations, and extracurricular academic contributions to ensure each recipient felt truly appreciated. Prof. Dr. Uzma Ghazanfar, Dean, Faculty of Basic Sciences-UW and chief guest of the ceremony, presented awards and shields to the students for their academic and extracurricular achievements and commended the computer science department faculty for their dedication and commitment.
