University of Wah Social Sciences Society (UWSSS) to ensure a harassment-free academic environment for all, organized an awareness session titled "Policy on Protection Against Sexual Harassment" on 23 January 2025. The session, attended by Dr. Wazir Zada Khan, Dean, Faculty of Computer Science, Dr. Bilal Ahmad, Director, Student Affairs, a large number of students and faculty, featured Mr. Khawaja Muhammad Ali Butt, a legal scholar, trainer, and administrator, as the guest speaker. The session conducted under the supervision of Ms. Shahla Nazmeen, Faculty In-charge, UWSSS focused on fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive academic environment. Mr. Butt highlighted the importance of accountability and empowered students with knowledge about their rights and mechanisms to address harassment. An interactive Q&A segment allowed participants to clarify their concerns, promoting awareness and understanding. Dr. Wazir Zada Khan and Dr. Bilal Ahmad presented a shield to the guest speaker as a token of appreciation.
