Wah Engineering College (WEC), University of Wah introduced students to peer mentorship in entrepreneurship by hosting an insightful seminar titled “Peer Mentorship in Entrepreneurship” on 23 January 2025. The event featured Dr. Attique Raza, Head of Positive Solutions, a distinguished entrepreneur and academic, as the keynote speaker. Dr. Raza captivated the audience with his extensive knowledge, experience and shared profound insights on effective mentorship, balancing academic pursuits with business ventures, and fostering a proactive mindset focused on creating opportunities rather than merely seeking them. Dr. Raza emphasized equipping aspiring entrepreneurs with essential skills, practical strategies, and robust networking opportunities to excel in a competitive business landscape. Highlighting the significance of shared experiences, he discussed how learning from peers and forming impactful mentorship relationships can drive business growth and personal development. In the end, Mr. Waqas Javed, Deputy Director, Student Affairs-WEC, presented a shield to Dr. Attique Raza in recognition of his invaluable contributions to the seminar.
