Department of Computer Science, to inspire, empower future leaders in technology and sustainability, hosted an insightful webinar titled "AI and Data Analytics in Renewable Energy" on 03 January 2025. The event aimed to explore the integration of AI and data analytics in revolutionizing the renewable energy sector, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7): Affordable and Clean Energy. Keynote speaker Dr. Shahid Sultan, Assistant Professor, Computer Science Department, University of Wah, shared insights on AI-driven renewable energy technologies, focusing on innovative approaches to improving energy accessibility and efficiency. Prof. Dr. Wazir Zada Khan, Dean, Faculty of Computer Science; Dr. Ayesha Siddiqa, Chairperson; Ms. Isra Naz and Ms. Munazza Bibi, Lecturers, Department of Computer Science; also contributed their expertise. The event attracted participants from diverse backgrounds, offering valuable knowledge on optimizing renewable energy systems through AI.
