University of Wah Library, to refine students' technical aspects of writing and instill a culture of scholarly excellence among them, organized a highly informative Research and Writing Workshop on 12 December 2024. It aimed to enhance the research and academic writing skills of students. Prof. Dr. Syed Waqas Hassan, Professor, Department of Biosciences, conducted the session, which was attended by a diverse group of students eager to sharpen their scholarly capabilities. The workshop focused on several critical aspects of academic research, including effective literature review techniques, the proper structuring of research papers, and methods to avoid plagiarism. Dr. Hassan shared his expertise, providing participants with practical tips and tools that could be directly applied to their academic work.
