Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), University of Wah to foster a culture of academic innovation and professional development within the University organized the Faculty Development Program (FDP) – Cohort IVon 14 April 2025.
The initiative aimed to enhance pedagogical skills, foster research capabilities, and improve student engagement strategies among newly inducted faculty members. The session commenced with a welcome address by Prof. Dr. Amjad Hassan, Director ORIC, who congratulated the new faculty members on joining the institution. In his address, he highlighted the significance of discipline, punctuality, and unwavering dedication to academic excellence. He further emphasized the importance of such developmental opportunities for continuous professional growth.
The program featured a series of engaging and insightful sessions conducted by seasoned academic professionals, including Dr. Saleem Iqbal, Chairperson, Department of Chemical Engineering; Dr. Kashif Iqbal, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering; and Dr. Sadiq Usman, Chairperson, Department of Physics. Each speaker brought a wealth of experience and offered practical strategies to enrich the teaching and learning experience at University.
