Department of Biosciences celebrated “World Food Day” on 16 October 2023, in line with the United Nations' theme, "Water is Life, Water is Food, Leave No One Behind". Students set up stalls and presented posters that brought attention to the issue of water scarcity and how it affects food and health. A group of judges visited the food stalls and selected the top three. At the end of the event, Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Uzma Ghazanfar, Dean, Faculty of Basic Sciences, awarded prizes to the students, applauded the participants' efforts, and emphasized the significance of continuing such events in the future.
