University of Wah is delighted to announce that Ali Hasnain, a top-performing student from the Department of Chemical Engineering (FA-21 Session), has been selected as a Finalist in the 2025 IOCD Essay Competition, held in collaboration with the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). His essay, titled “From Waste to Wealth: How Chemical Sciences Can Sustainably Transform Waste into Valuable Products,” has advanced to the final judging round, with a chance to win a USD 500 cash prize and publication in RSC Sustainability.
The IOCD-RSC Essay Challenge is a global initiative that empowers young voices in sustainability by encouraging innovative ideas aimed at leveraging the chemical sciences for a greener, more sustainable world.
