Wah Engineering College, University of Wah, conducted a career counseling session at Fazaia Degree College ARF, Kamra, on 13 February 2025, to guide FSc students on engineering education and career prospects. Dr. Saleem Iqbal, Chairperson, Chemical Engineering Department, emphasized the significance of engineering and introduced University of Wah, highlighting its academic excellence, national rankings, and scholarship opportunities. He also stressed the importance of open house events and job fairs in shaping students’ careers.
Mr. Shoaib Muhammad, Lecturer, Civil Engineering Department discussed the role of final-year projects and research in professional growth. A Q&A session followed, where Dr. Naeem Yousaf and Mr. Fazeel Ahmed, Assistant Professor and lecturer respectively, Chemical Engineering Department addressed students’ academic and career concerns. Students actively participated, showing keen interest in higher education. Vice Principal Prof. Habib and faculty members appreciated the initiative. As a token of gratitude, Dr. Saleem Iqbal presented a commemorative shield to Principal Prof. Salma Saeed.
