Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor, University of Wah (UW), presented his research at the 3rd International Workshop on Nuclear Theory, “Nuclei and hypernuclei in Relativistic Ion Collisions (INTW-2024),” held from 29 September to 05 October 2024, in Antalya, Türkiye. The workshop aimed to advance understanding of theoretical and experimental nuclear/astro physics, serving as a platform for international collaboration. The title of Prof. Nabi’s talk was "Investigation of β-decay in Hg, Pb, and Po Isotopes as a Function of Shape Parameter". The talk explored the impact of nuclear deformation on charge-changing strength distributions in neutron-deficient nuclei. Later, taking part in interactive sessions, Prof. Nabi explored various avenues of mutual collaboration with his foreign colleagues. Few participants of this workshop will later visit Pakistan in October to attend two international conferences at UW.
