Department of Management Sciences conducted an impactful online policy advocacy session titled “Faith Market Alignment Theory by Prof. Dr. Khurram Shahzad, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, on 08 May 2025. The session, organized by Dr. Sumia Mumtaz, lecturer, aimed to influence internationalization strategies through the integration of faith-based principles into global business practices.
The session introduced the pioneering Faith Market Alignment Theory to a diverse audience, including professionals from the healthcare, skincare, mining, construction, and welfare sectors, as well as academia and government organizations. Distinguished participants included Prof. Dr. Saman Attiq (NUST Business School, Rawalpindi), Mr. Khushbukhat (ZAQA Consulting), Mr. Zaheer Ahmad (CMU Global Fund), Mr. Syed Saqlain (Hemani International), Mr. Zeeshan Ahmed (AWT Group), Mr. Atif (MD WILL), and Mr. Shahvaiz Ali (Black Gold Coal Mine).
Participants showed keen interest in the theory's relevance, highlighting its potential to promote ethical trade, sustainable growth, and community trust in international markets. The theory suggests that aligning business strategies with faith-based values, particularly Islamic principles, can enhance global competitiveness and improve policy-making. This session marked an important move toward incorporating ethical frameworks into business and government strategies.
