Department of Management Sciences-UW, to empower students academically and professionally, organized a hands-on lab session on Financial Ratio Analysis for BBA 3rd semester students on 20 January 2025. The session conducted by Dr. Fatima Sultana, Lecturer, Department of Management Sciences, designed to connect theoretical knowledge with practical implecation in financial decision-making and highlighted the importance of integrating technology with financial analysis to meet modern business demands.
During the hands-on session, students received comprehensive training on evaluating a company's financial health using key ratios. The session also covered Excel-based ratio analysis with step-by-step guidance, practical exercises to interpret ratios, and best practices for financial data analysis. The interactive session enhanced students' technical competencies, equipping them with real-world skills for financial analysis.
