Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Development Committee (PPDC) visited Wah Engineering College on 03 July 2024 for PPDC Project Awareness and Distribution of Financial Assistance to Selected FYDPs. This event marked a milestone for the college as 12 Final Year Design Projects (FYDPs), that were previously selected by PEC for financial assistance during 2023-24, were awarded their remaining 60% funding. The PEC team, headed by Dr. Riffat Ameen Pasha, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, UET Taxila, praised the faculty members and students for their dedication and hard work. During his interaction with the faculty members, Dr. Pasha elaborated the various PEC initiatives under PPDC, including the Graduate Internship Program, FYDP Financing, the Organization of FYDP Expos, and the E-Library. Dr. Pasha’s insights not only provided a comprehensive understanding of the support mechanisms available for engineering students and graduates but also served as a source of inspiration, motivating everyone present to strive for excellence. The event concluded with a note of gratitude from the Dean of Engineering, Wah Engineering College, who thanked PEC for their continuous support and encouragement.
