UW Sports Society, under the supervision of the Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA), organized an exhilarating Basketball Interdepartmental Cup from 06-07 January 2025. The event brought together eight departments in fierce competition, with Department of Physics and Department of Management Sciences reaching the highly anticipated final, showcasing exceptional athleticism, sportsmanship, and unity. After an intense and exciting competition, Department of Management Sciences triumphed to claim the championship title, while the Department of Physics secured the runner-up position. The event was honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Khurram Shahzad, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, and Dr. Bilal Ahmad, Director, Student Affairs, who interacted with the teams and presented trophy to the winners. The event highlighted remarkable basketball skills in students and fostered a spirit of sportsmanship and unity among all participants.
