Dr. Asma Arif, Asst. Prof. and Chairperson, Department of Economics, visited the Yonyou Digital Exhibition Centre on 24 June 2024, arranged by the School of Economics and Management, China University of Geosciences, Beijing. Yonyou is a leading enterprise management software and cloud service provider in China and Asia-Pacific. They offer a comprehensive suite of products and services, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Human Resource Management (HRM), and more, designed to streamline business operations and ensure client success. Yonyou provides tailored solutions to help companies comply with local laws and invests in research and development to offer innovative technology that can improve efficiency and reduce costs. The visit aimed to establish new industry connections for academic collaboration and professional development in the Higher education sector. Prof. Dr. Ghulam Abbas and Dr. Muhammad Zahir Iqbal from the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, Swabi, and Dr. Umaima Arif, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, visited the Yonyou Business Enterprise. The research team from Pakistan attended the meeting with the chief managers of the digital enterprise, chaired by Fan Hu and Tengfei Hou. The meeting commenced with a brief introduction of the Yonyou and research team from Pakistan by Dr. Li Huajiao, Professor and Dean of the Department of Management Science and Engineering, China University of Geosciences Beijing, and Dr. Shaochao Ma, China University of Geosciences Beijing. The participants participated in a Q&A session, sharing insights and exchanging ideas on enhancing bilateral trade between China and Pakistan and resource interdependence.
