University of Wah once again raised the bar by going the extra mile and received the prestigious Academic Excellence Award 2023 for the second consecutive year, organized by the Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP) on 25 August 2023, at Governor House Lahore. The Academic Excellence Award is a competitive award designed to recognize the outstanding achievements and commitment of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in academia. The respectable Governor of the Punjab, Mr. Baleegh ur Rehman, was the Chief Guest of the Ceremony. Chairperson of Punjab Higher Education Commission, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir; Chairman HEC, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed; Chairman APSUP, Prof. Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Rehman; scholars, researchers, and dignitaries from academia also attended the ceremony. Vice Chancellor, University of Wah, Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, received the Academic Excellence Award 2023 on behalf of UW. This earned success of University of Wah shows dedication and commitment to the provision of quality education to all.
