A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the University of Wah (UW) and COMSATS University, Islamabad (CUI), Wah Campus, was signed on 06 July 2023, to enhance development and collaboration in areas of mutual interest for both universities. It will benefit both universities to actively engage in and participate in joint academic ventures, including:
- Establishment of academic linkages
- Collaboration in research activities
- Sharing of resources
- To conduct and participate in joint academic and research activities (seminars, workshops, webinars, etc.)
Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor, University of Wah and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abid, Director, COMSATS University Islamabad, Wah Campus, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions. In the end, Director COMSATS University, Wah Campus, and VC-UW emphasized in their keynote speeches the need to collaborate in the areas of research and other academic activities to achieve academic development. The signing ceremony was attended by Registrar UW, Brig (R) Haroon Abbas Khan; Director ORIC-UW, Dr. Zuhair Subhani Khan; Dean Faculty of Computer Science, Prof. Dr. Wazir Zada Khan; and COMSATS University, Islamabad, Wah campus officials.
