A delegation from POFs visited Quaid and WEC campuses with reference to the “Heavy Metal Remediation Project” on 27 December 2022. The visit aimed to take a final report about research findings from the three participating departments including Chemical Engineering, Biosciences and Chemistry. All three departments presented their models and conclusions related to the project. Later, the “Integrated Biotech System”, designed for heavy metal removal, and developed by Dr. M. Idrees and Mr. Ammar Younas from Department of Biosciences was approved by the delegation.
