Department of Management Sciences, University of Wah, organized a seminar titled “Hashtag to Action: Youth and Civic Engagement in the Real World” on 02 June 2025. The event was part of the Civic and Community Engagement course, conducted by BBA-4 students under the supervision of Ms. Aisha Rehman. The seminar aimed to promote socially responsible and community-minded graduates by exploring ways to transform digital activism into meaningful civic participation.
Dr. Jamil Ahmed Sheikh, Chairperson, Department of Social Sciences, served as the guest speaker. In his address, he emphasized the vital role of youth in driving real-world change and encouraged students to convert online movements into tangible community actions. He also shared practical strategies for effective civic involvement, which inspired and energized the audience.
Faculty members from the Department of Management Sciences attended the seminar, showing their support and actively engaging in the discussions. The event concluded with a dynamic Q&A session, reflecting the student's keen interest in making a positive social impact.
