Directorate of Quality Assurance & Enhancement (DQA&E), University of Wah, conducted a comprehensive Self-Review of all MS and PhD programs on 28- 29 April 2025. This initiative aimed to uphold academic excellence, enhance program quality, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in alignment with national standards. The review was carried out by a panel of eight experienced reviewers, including two external experts: Dr. Muhammad Naeem, Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, COMSATS University Islamabad, Wah Campus, and Dr. Mirza Arfan Yawer, Professor, Department of Chemistry, University of Education, Attock Campus.
During the two-day exercise, the panel thoroughly reviewed twenty-three MS programs, one MBA program, and eleven PhD programs. The evaluation covered critical areas such as institutional governance, academic offerings, faculty credentials, and student support services, focusing on compliance with the quality assurance standards established by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). As part of the process, the panel held extensive meetings with the university’s administration, faculty members, and students to assess the quality and effectiveness of the programs. In addition, the reviewers visited laboratories, libraries, classrooms, and other academic facilities to evaluate the infrastructure supporting postgraduate education at the University of Wah.
