Wah Business School, under the Business Leaders Professional Society (BLPS), organized a workshop on green banking, climate risks, and sustainable finance on 31 January 2025, aimed at promoting educational initiatives that encourage responsible financial practices. The event provided students with valuable insights into the financial sector's role in environmental sustainability.
Distinguished keynote speakers included Dr. Syeda Hina Zaidi, SME at Allied Bank Ltd., Islamabad, who shared expert insights on sustainable finance strategies, and Mr. Asad Jan, Joint Director at the State Bank of Pakistan, who discussed policy frameworks and financial instruments for green banking. Students actively engaged in the discussions, demonstrating their keen interest and enthusiasm in shaping a sustainable financial future. The event raised awareness and encouraged future business leaders to get involved in eco-friendly banking initiatives.
