Ms. Umama Hashmi, an alumna of the University of Wah and a gold medalist in BS Economics, continues to bring laurels to her alma mater. She secured a merit-based scholarship for her MS and achieved the top merit position in the College Teaching Internee (CTI) program under the Higher Education Department of Punjab. She is currently serving as a CTI at Government Associate College for Women, Hassan Abdal, and as a visiting faculty member in the Department of Economics, University of Wah. She attributes her success to the unwavering support and mentorship provided by her teachers and the Department of Economics at UW.
