University of Wah proudly announces that Ms. Maria Muzaffar Janjua, Lecturer, Department of Psychology, has received the HEC Research Travel Grant to attend the 5th Southeast Asian Conference on Education (SEACE2025) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 21-25 February 2025. Her research paper, “Child Marriages and Female Education: Examining the Impact on Learning Opportunities in Pakistan” has selected for an oral presentation at the conference. Her work critically examines the socio-educational challenges posed by child marriages and their effect on female education, contributing to discourse on pressing societal issues. This achievement reflects Ms. Maria’s dedication to impactful research and addressing societal challenges. We congratulate her and acknowledge ORIC UW's support in facilitating this success.
