Electronic, social and print media have evolved into the most dynamic forms of interactive media in modern times and a powerful means to disseminate information and influence public opinion. Since the inception of Media Publication Directorate, it has been University of Wah’s principal instrument that interacts with the social and conventional media to project UW’s image and view point in a subtle and effective manner. The Directorate is mandated with image enhancement of the University through compilation and printing of bi-annual Newsletters, Annual Reports, UW Website and Facebook uploads, press releases/briefs, newspaper advertisements/articles etc. Recent launch of the campus radio UW FM 101.8 has added yet another dimension to the Directorate multidimensional domain. In a short span of time, DMP has emerged as a powerful tool for the media projection of University of Wah.
