UW Social Science Society, in collaboration with BS-3 (A) students from the Psychology Department, University of Wah and under the supervision of Ms. Shehla Nazmeen, Senior Lecturer, Sociology Department-UW organized a “Winter Drive” on 14 January 2025. The primary objective of the Winter Drive was to bring the campus community together in a collective effort to extend warmth and support to those in need. It also helps to foster the spirit of giving back to the community and support underprivileged students during the harsh winter months. As part of this initiative, the team visited the Basic Education Community School, Seri Seral D-12, Islamabad, where they distributed sweaters and stationery items to needy students. The Winter Drive reflected the values of empathy, kindness, and collective action, inspiring everyone involved to make a tangible impact on the lives of others.
